Role Purpose
The Institutional Partnerships Manager will develop and manage Eklingji Limited's relationships with universities, colleges, schools, education groups and relevant service partners.
The objective is to build sustainable partnerships that expand suitable study opportunities for students while ensuring institutional relationships remain commercially sound, transparent and student-centred.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify universities and education providers suitable for partnership.
- Research institutional programmes, entry requirements, intakes and international recruitment priorities.
- Establish contact with international recruitment, admissions and partnership teams.
- Prepare partnership proposals, presentations and agency applications.
- Negotiate commercial arrangements within delegated authority.
- Coordinate due diligence and contractual documentation.
- Maintain a central register of partner agreements, commission structures, territories and renewal dates.
- Develop annual recruitment plans with partner institutions.
- Arrange staff training and university product-information sessions.
- Coordinate institutional visits, education fairs, webinars and recruitment events.
- Monitor student volumes and conversion by partner.
- Provide partners with accurate recruitment forecasts and performance reports.
- Gather admissions and compliance updates and distribute them internally.
- Ensure marketing teams use approved and current institutional information.
- Monitor service quality and resolve partner escalations.
- Support expansion into the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Europe and New Zealand.
- Build relationships with schools, colleges and referral organisations that can generate appropriate student enquiries.
- Ensure partnership activity reflects ethical international student recruitment standards.
Essential Requirements
- Degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrable partnership, account-management or higher-education recruitment experience.
- Strong commercial negotiation skills.
- Excellent presentation and relationship-management capability.
- Ability to interpret contractual and commercial information.
- Strong understanding of international education markets.
- Willingness to travel when necessary.
Desirable
Existing relationships within international higher education or experience managing university-agent contracts.
