Role Purpose

The Admissions Liaison Officer will act as the operational link between prospective students, Eklingji advisers and partner education institutions.

The role is responsible for moving applications efficiently from preparation through submission, offer, acceptance and enrolment while ensuring that documentation is accurate and deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review student application files for completeness and accuracy.
  • Coordinate applications to universities, colleges and other education providers.
  • Liaise professionally with institutional admissions teams regarding applications, offers and outstanding requirements.
  • Track conditional and unconditional offers.
  • Coordinate reference letters, transcripts, English-language results, personal statements and other required documentation.
  • Monitor application portals and update internal CRM records promptly.
  • Inform students and advisers of application developments and outstanding actions.
  • Coordinate offer acceptance, deposit and enrolment documentation.
  • Maintain intake and institutional deadline calendars.
  • Assist with scholarship and bursary applications.
  • Check that information submitted by students is consistent and credible.
  • Identify potentially fraudulent, altered or inconsistent documents and escalate appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate records of communications with students and institutions.
  • Provide management with admissions pipeline reports.
  • Support university visits, webinars, offer-holder events and admissions briefings.
  • Work closely with Student Advisers and Education Consultants to ensure students receive consistent information.
  • Provide factual administrative information concerning visa-document requirements while referring regulated immigration advice to authorised personnel.

Key Performance Measures

Application completeness, turnaround time, offer rates, missed-deadline rate, institution response management, CRM accuracy and student satisfaction.

Essential Requirements

  • Degree or relevant professional experience.
  • Strong administrative and document-management skills.
  • Excellent written English.
  • Ability to manage numerous active applications simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Professional communication skills.
  • Competence with CRM systems, Microsoft 365/Google Workspace and online application portals.

Desirable

Previous employment in university admissions, international recruitment, student services or an education consultancy.

Employment at Eklingji

Working hours
Normally 37.5 hours per week. Any additional hours must comply with applicable Working Time Regulations and company policy.
Annual leave
At least the statutory paid annual-leave entitlement applicable to the employee. Company contractual benefits may provide a higher entitlement.
Pay
Salaries shown are gross annual basic salaries. Eklingji Limited will ensure pay does not fall below the applicable National Minimum Wage or National Living Wage.
Right to work
Employment is conditional on the company completing all legally required right-to-work checks.
Visa sponsorship
Sponsorship applies only to roles expressly identified as eligible and only where the employee, occupation, salary and vacancy meet the immigration requirements in force when the Certificate of Sponsorship is assigned.
Immigration advice
Employees must not provide regulated immigration advice or services unless appropriately authorised to do so. Non-authorised staff must refer regulated cases to an authorised adviser.
Data protection
Employees must process student, applicant, employee and partner information securely, confidentially and in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements and company policies.
Ethical student recruitment
Staff must provide accurate and transparent information. Employees must never guarantee admission, scholarships, visa approval, post-study employment or permanent residency.
Conflicts of interest
Commercial commissions or institutional relationships must not override the obligation to recommend suitable education options to students.
