Role Purpose

The Marketing & Communications Officer will develop Eklingji Limited's student-facing and partner-facing communications while protecting the accuracy and credibility of the company's brand.

The role will combine digital marketing, campaigns, events, CRM communications, social media and performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop annual and intake-specific marketing plans.
  • Promote Eklingji's services across appropriate digital channels.
  • Create campaigns for UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Europe and New Zealand study opportunities.
  • Coordinate email, social media, search, website and event marketing.
  • Manage communications calendars around major university intakes.
  • Create student-information campaigns about applications, scholarships and deadlines.
  • Work with the Content Creator to produce accurate, useful and compliant material.
  • Verify university claims, fees, deadlines and course information before publication.
  • Avoid misleading claims concerning visa approval, admissions, employment or settlement outcomes.
  • Manage webinars, seminars, fairs and university-partner campaigns.
  • Track enquiry sources and campaign conversion.
  • Maintain CRM marketing segmentation.
  • Measure cost per enquiry, qualified lead rate, consultation bookings and student conversion.
  • Coordinate approved student testimonials and success stories.
  • Obtain appropriate consent before publishing identifiable student content.
  • Manage brand consistency across online and printed material.
  • Monitor reviews and online reputation.
  • Support B2B communications with institutions and referral partners.
  • Produce monthly marketing performance reports.
  • Maintain appropriate data-protection and direct-marketing practices.

Essential Requirements

  • Marketing, communications or relevant business qualification/experience.
  • Digital-marketing knowledge.
  • Excellent written English.
  • Strong campaign-management skills.
  • Familiarity with analytics and CRM systems.
  • Ability to communicate responsibly to international students.

Desirable

Experience marketing education, professional services or international student recruitment.

Employment at Eklingji

Working hours
Normally 37.5 hours per week. Any additional hours must comply with applicable Working Time Regulations and company policy.
Annual leave
At least the statutory paid annual-leave entitlement applicable to the employee. Company contractual benefits may provide a higher entitlement.
Pay
Salaries shown are gross annual basic salaries. Eklingji Limited will ensure pay does not fall below the applicable National Minimum Wage or National Living Wage.
Right to work
Employment is conditional on the company completing all legally required right-to-work checks.
Visa sponsorship
Sponsorship applies only to roles expressly identified as eligible and only where the employee, occupation, salary and vacancy meet the immigration requirements in force when the Certificate of Sponsorship is assigned.
Immigration advice
Employees must not provide regulated immigration advice or services unless appropriately authorised to do so. Non-authorised staff must refer regulated cases to an authorised adviser.
Data protection
Employees must process student, applicant, employee and partner information securely, confidentially and in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements and company policies.
Ethical student recruitment
Staff must provide accurate and transparent information. Employees must never guarantee admission, scholarships, visa approval, post-study employment or permanent residency.
Conflicts of interest
Commercial commissions or institutional relationships must not override the obligation to recommend suitable education options to students.
